Repair History
Purpose
This page displays a list of all repair records for a specific vehicle. It allows you to review repair history, see total and average repair costs, and edit individual repair entries.
When to Use This Page
- When reviewing repair work performed on a vehicle
- When checking how much has been spent on repairs
- When editing or correcting a repair record
- When verifying repair totals and averages
Repair History Table Columns
| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Description | A short description of the repair performed. |
| Edit | Opens the Edit Repair screen for the selected record. |
| Vendor | The shop or provider that performed the repair. |
| Date | The date the repair was performed. |
| Odometer | The vehicle’s odometer reading at the time of repair. |
| Cost | The total cost of the repair. |
Required and Optional Data
Each repair record requires:
- Description
The following values may be blank for some records:
- Vendor
- Date
- Odometer
- Cost
Buttons and Actions
| Button | Action |
|---|---|
| Add Repair | Opens the Add Repair screen to record a new repair. |
| Vehicle Overview | Returns to the overview page for the selected vehicle. |
| Edit | Opens the selected repair record for editing. |
Totals and Averages Section
At the bottom of the page, totals and averages are shown for all repair records listed.
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Repair Cost | The total amount spent on repairs for this vehicle. |
| Average Repair Cost | The average cost per repair item. |
Notes and Tips
Repair records are listed for easy review.
Clear descriptions make it easier to identify recurring repair issues.
Editing or deleting a repair record immediately updates totals and averages.
Behavior and Calculations
Repair totals and averages are calculated automatically.
All values update immediately when a repair record is added, edited, or deleted.
