Purchase History
Purpose
This page displays a list of all purchase records for a specific vehicle. Purchases include vehicle-related items that are not fuel, maintenance, or repairs. This page helps you review purchase history and see total purchase costs.
When to Use This Page
- When reviewing past vehicle-related purchases
- When checking how much has been spent on accessories or supplies
- When editing or correcting a purchase record
- When verifying total purchase costs
Purchase History Table Columns
| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Description | A short description of the purchase made. |
| Edit | Opens the Edit Purchase screen for the selected record. |
| Vendor | The store or provider where the purchase was made. |
| Date | The date the purchase was made. |
| Cost | The total cost of the purchase. |
Required and Optional Data
Each purchase record requires:
- Description
The following values may be blank for some records:
- Vendor
- Date
- Cost
Buttons and Actions

| Add Purchase | Opens the Add Purchase screen to record a new purchase. |
| Vehicle Overview | Returns to the overview page for the selected vehicle. |
| Edit | Opens the selected purchase record for editing. |
Totals Section
At the bottom of the page, a total purchase count and total cost are displayed.

| Total Purchases | The number of purchase records for the vehicle. |
| Total Purchase Cost | The total amount spent on purchases for this vehicle. |
Notes and Tips
Purchases are listed for easy review.
Clear descriptions help distinguish purchases from maintenance and repairs.
Editing or deleting a purchase record immediately updates totals.
Behavior and Calculations
Purchase totals are calculated automatically.
All values update immediately when a purchase record is added, edited, or deleted.
