Maintenance History
Purpose
This page displays a list of all maintenance records for a specific vehicle. It allows you to review past maintenance, see total and average costs, and edit individual maintenance entries.
When to Use This Page
- When reviewing maintenance work performed on a vehicle
- When checking how much has been spent on maintenance
- When editing or correcting a maintenance record
- When verifying maintenance totals and averages
Maintenance History Table Columns
| Column Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Description | A short name describing the maintenance performed. |
| Edit | Opens the Edit Maintenance screen for the selected record. |
| Vendor | The shop or provider that performed the maintenance. |
| Date | The date the maintenance was performed. |
| Odometer | The vehicle’s odometer reading at the time of maintenance. |
| Cost | The total cost of the maintenance item. |
Required and Optional Data
Each maintenance record requires:
- Description
The following values may be blank for some records:
- Vendor
- Date
- Odometer
- Cost
Buttons and Actions
| Button | Action |

| Add Maintenance | Opens the Add Maintenance screen to record new maintenance. |
| Vehicle Overview | Returns to the overview page for the selected vehicle. |
| Edit | Opens the selected maintenance record for editing. |
Totals and Averages Section
At the bottom of the page, totals and averages are shown for all maintenance records listed.

| Total Maintenance Cost | The total amount spent on maintenance for this vehicle. |
| Average Maintenance Cost | The average cost per maintenance item. |
Notes and Tips
Maintenance records are listed for easy review.
Using clear descriptions makes maintenance history easier to understand later.
Editing or deleting a maintenance record immediately updates totals and averages.
Behavior and Calculations
Maintenance totals and averages are calculated automatically.
All values update immediately when a maintenance record is added, edited, or deleted.
