Fuelup Record

Purpose

This page displays a detailed list of all fuelups recorded for a specific vehicle. It allows you to review fuel history, see calculated mileage and MPG values, and edit individual fuel entries.

When to Use This Page

Fuel Record Table Columns

Column Name Description
Vendor The fuel vendor or gas station where the fuel was purchased.
Edit Opens the Edit Fuelup screen for the selected fuel record.
Date/Time The date the fuel was purchased.
Odometer The vehicle’s odometer reading at the time of the fuelup.
Units The amount of fuel added, such as gallons or liters.
$/Unit The cost per unit of fuel.
Cost The total cost of the fuelup.
Miles The distance driven since the previous fuelup.
MPG Miles per gallon calculated from distance and fuel used.

Required and Optional Data

Fuel records require Date/Time, Units, and Cost per Unit.

Vendor and Odometer are optional, but Miles and MPG are only calculated when valid odometer readings are available.

Buttons and Actions

Button Action
Add Fuelup Opens the Add Fuelup screen to record a new fuel purchase.
MPG Chart Displays a chart showing Miles Per Gallon (MPG) for each fuelup.
Vehicle Overview Returns to the overview page for the selected vehicle.
Edit Opens the selected fuelup for editing.

Totals and Averages Section

At the bottom of the page, totals and averages are displayed for all fuelups listed.

Value Description
Total Fuelups The total number of fuel records.
Total Gallons The total amount of fuel purchased.
Average Cost/Gallon The average price paid per unit of fuel.
Total Fuel Cost The total amount spent on fuel.
Total Miles The total miles tracked from fuelups.
Average Miles The average miles driven between fuelups.
Average MPG The average fuel efficiency across all fuelups.

Notes and Tips

Fuelups are listed in date order for easy review.

If MPG or Miles values appear blank, the odometer reading may be missing for one or more fuelups.

Editing a fuelup immediately updates totals and averages.

Behavior and Calculations

Miles and MPG are calculated using the difference between consecutive odometer readings.

All totals and averages update automatically whenever a fuelup is added, edited, or deleted.
